    To Jesus, Through Mary

To the Seton Catholic Preparatory Community:

What a great time to be a Sentinel! There is a positive energy around from everyone I encounter, and I know we are in for a great school year. I want to officially welcome you to another great year of a quality Catholic education here at Seton Catholic Preparatory. Seton Catholic has been serving the East valley community since 1954 and I am excited to partner with you as we continue towards academic excellence, leadership, and loving service to others. The first day of classes is always exciting for me because it provides a blank canvas just waiting for the daily strokes of color and charm. Regardless of our prior experiences, we all begin with a fresh start and this is one of the beauties of education that we all share.

Survey says…Busy summer in store for Seton families

Posted on Jun 15 by Jill · Filed in Announcements

Before school ended, we surveyed our Seton Catholic Prep families about their summer plans for travel, community service, and reading.

Eighty-three families responded, which led us to one conclusion: Boredom won’t be a problem for these Sentinels.

Any plans for Squirrel Appreciation Day?

Posted on Jan 19 by Jill · Filed in Announcements

One of the fun things about a new year is flipping through a fresh, unspoiled calendar. Twelve pages full of hope and promise chock-full of pictures of funny felines. Ah, the possibilities …

Many of us rely on digital calendars, which aren’t as satisfying to the senses as their glossy paper cousins. Online calendars that list weird or obscure holidays are our favorites. How else would we know that Saturday, Jan. 21, is Squirrel Appreciation Day? Or that May 12 is National Limerick Day, which inspired our own limerick about Seton Catholic Prep (shown above). As the holiday approaches, we’ll ask Facebook readers to submit their own silly verses about Seton.

Get into the holiday spirit at Seton Spirit Store/SCRIP

Posted on Dec 15 by Jill · Filed in Announcements

Did you know Seton Catholic Prep has its own version of Santa’s North Pole? It’s called the Spirit Store/SCRIP Office. If you’re feeling a little overwhelmed by Christmas shopping, the Spirit Store’s volunteer elves are eager to help.

Don’t have time (or patience) to fight the crowds at the mall? Stop by the Spirit Store next time you’re on campus or visit us online at setoncatholic.org (click the “Shop” link).

Welcome to Seton 360, the official blog of Seton Catholic Preparatory in sunny Chandler, Ariz. While there are many “Setons” out there… there’s Seton School in Virginia, Elizabeth Seton High School in Maryland, Seton Hill University in Pennsylvania (where we offer dual enrollment classes!)…we’re proud to be the one and only Catholic, college prep high school in the East Valley of Phoenix.
