Above and beyond
In addition to our standard rigorous curriculum, most of our graduates go beyond the minimum requirements through our Advanced Placement program, dual enrollment opportunities through Seton Hill University, or challenging electives such as Anatomy and Physiology, Academic Decathlon or Psychology. Seton students have the opportunity to pursue their passions for the performing and visual arts through a rapidly growing Fine Arts program that features drama, music, ceramics, photography and film as well as some of the more traditional media such as pencil, charcoal or paint. In theology and religious studies, students receive instruction in the Catholic, Christian tradition that follows the framework of the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops. These are just some of the ways Seton students enjoy the richness and depth of our academic requirement.
Many of Seton Catholic Prep’s faculty members have earned advanced degrees. What sets this group of talented individuals apart, however, is their care for their students. As a result, Seton students are remarkably successful in their academic endeavors. Because of our college preparatory focus, Seton Catholic Prep sends 99 percent of its graduates each year to college. Graduates of Seton Catholic Prep have been accepted to the finest universities in the country, including Stanford; Harvard; Yale; Notre Dame; Georgetown; UCLA; Brown; Barrett, The Honors College at ASU; and the United States Naval Academy by presidential appointment.
