Seton |
The mission of Seton
Catholic High School is to call its students to full participation in
a community of faith in which Gospel values and Catholic Church
teachings are integrated into the lives of the students. Central to
this call is the challenge to all students to achieve superior
standards of educational excellence so they will be fully prepared to
spread the Gospel and to be contributing members of the Church and
society.

DIVERSE STUDENT BODY IN A SMALL SCHOOL
Located in Chandler, Arizona, 600 students from Chandler, Mesa, Tempe,
Gilbert, Scottsdale and Guadalupe attend Seton Catholic. Our students are Anglo,
Hispanic, Asian, Native American and African American from low, middle
and high income levels. The average class size is 26.
QUALIFIED FACULTY
The 42 faculty members are all fully certified, and have masters’
degrees, equivalent masters’ degrees, or are working on fulfilling
credits toward a master’s degree or higher. Academic, college,
spiritual and personal counseling are available to each student from
the three full-time counselors and campus minister.
TECHNOLOGICALLY EQUIPPED
Seton Catholic is fully equipped with two computer labs, a media
center, and computers in the classroom. Students learn network
use, computer applications and multi-media skills throughout the
curriculum.
COLLEGE PREPARATORY CURRICULUM
Our graduation requirements meet or exceed college entrance
requirements, and our curriculum includes both Honors and Advanced
Placement courses. Typically, 98% of Seton Catholic’s graduates go on
to college. Recent alumni return to tell us they feel they were
well prepared for the academic rigors of college.
COLLEGE ADMISSIONS
Seton Catholic graduates apply and are accepted at all in-state and
many out-of-state schools. A complete listing of colleges and

2004 were awarded over two million dollars in scholarships for their
college education.
HIGHER TEST SCORES
Seton Catholic students regularly score higher on the SAT and the ACT
compared to the average students in the state and the nation. Seton
had six seniors who were National Merit Finalists or Semifinalists. |
