Here, our ultimate goal is to prepare students with the resources necessary for lifelong learning within the framework of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and His Church. The only Catholic high school serving the East Valley of Phoenix, Seton Catholic Prep was named for Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton who opened the first parochial school in the United States and founded the Sisters of Charity. This order of sisters has helped staff the school throughout its history. Today, Seton Catholic Prep continues its strong affiliation with the Sisters of Charity by offering a dual enrollment with Seton Hill University in Greensburg, Pennsylvania.
Open to students of all faiths, Seton serves students primarily from Chandler, Mesa, Tempe and Gilbert while students from Phoenix, Ahwatukee, Apache Junction, Casa Grande, Scottsdale and Pinal County also attend Seton. A growing enrollment includes students from Catholic K-8 schools throughout the East Valley as well as students from private, public, charter and home schools.
