Twenty-five guests from Sacred Heart School in Tullamore, Ireland began a week full of adventure March 14, indulging in American fast food, “having the craic” (an Irish phrase meaning “having a good time”) and all that Arizona has to offer.

After months of preparation and anticipation, a group of Seton staff, leaders and upperclassmen students took a four-day trip to the Franciscan Renewal Center in Scottsdale from March 19-22 for Kairos 62.

The Seton boys’ community came together to learn more about their faith through a group retreat called FORGE Jan. 19. Established several years ago under former Seton teacher Mr. Stephen Ryan, its purpose is to reinvigorate the relationships and camaraderie among the Seton male students. Additionally, the retreat is student-led. This year, it focused on the charism of courage.

In an effort to provide memorable experiences for students with special needs, Seton Buddies will host guests from eight nearby schools for a Unified Field Day on Feb. 2 at Michael Eubanks Stadium with game booths, food trucks and a DJ.
